You seem to be moving the brush much slower than that example video, is that because of less paint or is it the type of paint? Here’s a fairly hopeless video of some base coating I did today. This is white Autoair over primer. It took 4 coats before the grey primer was no longer visible. To be honest I’m not model painting expert, I’m just going with the tried and true methods of light layers properly dried in between.

That’s just because I was releasing a tiny amount of paint. I was moving faster on the wider spray areas. The main thing is that you can hardly see the paint land until it’s on some of the flatter areas. You seem to be moving the brush much slower than that example video, is that because of less paint or is it the type of paint?
I only have one regulator (the silver knob at bottom) before my home made manifold. I also have one at the tank....I just add on as I get more brushes... I have since replaced the dial...Bit off topic here but
Is it possible to gage 2 air lines out of the one tank and compressor?
My son loves airbrushing (he even loves wearing the mask) and the wife suggested a cheap Chinese compressor for him, but I figured there must be a way to use what we already have?

Thanks for the help and support, it's made a huge differenceYou are really getting the hang of it...Your paint seems to lay down a lot nicer...Keep it up...
No problem...I have learned so much from everyone here, it is nice to pay back if I can. That is why I love this place....I am still a newbie myself...Thanks for the help and support, it's made a huge difference
