Compressor problem

Hey everyone! Ok, I got a weird problem. There's air leaking out of the little hole at the bottom of this piece. The parts diagram is very vague so I'm not sure if this is part of the pressure switch or what. The air line comes from the check valve on the side of the tank and into this little piece. There seems to be a plunger that comes out of the back of it.

Any bright ideas? It's a Craftsman 921.153101 compressor if that helps. Thanks! conpressor.jpg

@huskystafford well I appreciate the help! ;) I've done some research and I think it's part of the pressure switch assembly- which is about $60. I may be able to get a cheaper one, but probably I should bite the bullet and get the correct part.

At least I have a copy here now where I can find it lol

I don’t know what that is by looking at the picture either. I’ll have a look around my compressor once it’s daylight and I’m back from work. See if that can help shed any light.

i THINK this is the same part... but im not 100% positive its a direct replacement. https://amzn.to/3d8EGmQ

A reviewer commented they did use this valve on the same model compressor. A lot of overlap on those, husky cambell hausfield etc etc.
Wow thank you! I would be willing to try this out. I know that most Craftsman stuff is just a rebranded unit from another manufacturer so it likely was made by Campbell Hausfeld. A bit of research may lead me to who produces the compressor. Thanks!

I’m 95% certain it will directly bolt up. Good luck!
