Day one in the airbrush house

You are certainly getting better at this spraying lark. As for thinners it depends what solvents your using. I would get some standard thinner, probably cellulose and some lovely 2k thinners which is what is used with inspire solvents and hok etc, Great for cleaning the guns out as it melts everything lol.. Depends where you are in the UK, Jawel paints is my local paint place. https://www.jawel.co.uk/ Gun wash is ok to clean stuff out. which I think you already have. Remember though, proper respirator and ventilation or extraction unit with filter,, its nasty stuff.

Many thanks, I've ordered gunwash now from Jewell but apparently they are closed till Thursday, it's all good tho.

What's the difference in 2k?,

AND finally the second pair of glasses are done, my son wanted gold ones for sonics rings and blue for sonic and green for the sonic green hill levels.

Matte Clear coat from splash done also.

Did a couple more jobs while I was at it also.

looks to me your family got a personal airbrusher

It smells different that's for sure. I believe that cellulose is a different solvent, more aggressive than 1k and 2k which are solvent but acrylic based. Apart from that I haven't a clue what the differences are. Some folks say they have used gun wash in primers or cellulose in 2k but others say that it could congeal or split like sour milk, some say they've not had any issues. Personally if its 2k paint I would use 2k thinner (reducer for anyone outside the UK) and vice versa cellulose in cellulose paint.

So today, my wife has a candle warmer (she collects candles) now she got this cheap as it comes with plastic plants but this didn't, so I offered to give it a splash of colour, now she loves jelly beans and I figured it needed green, copper and blue for the earth colours, anyway, here's the result

don't beat your self up. It's a good thing to make a break. You are working on your airbrush skills quite nicely, so I wouldn't worry about this.

Due to an oversight, then an issue I tried and failed to fix, I've stripped and started again on the xbox pad, I actually think it'll look even better this time around :)
