Probably the weirdest question about nozzle this year -.-

No problem. Still thinking about what to do with spares. I need some spares for my eclipse also so I could go all in this time, or wait some time and make another purchase. It's weird how you always find something which you ''need'' with this airbrushing.

When I joined this forum I thought I'm gonna buy airbrush ,some paint and off we go. Suuuuuuuuure... :whistling:
If shipping becomes an issue from the U.K. We can always look into the cost of getting it delivered to me and then I can post it to you. I don’t know if that works out economically, but it’s always an option for you Buddy.

thanks man I really appreciate. Ussually UK is not a biggie. I am just trying to get more for my money, cause I have few plans in the future.

I did have few times issues with amazon cause they didn't deliver stuff to my country, that would be use full :)

I am still trying to figure out where in Europe I would get the cheapest Createx Illustrator and Etac. I know Mr.Micron is spraying wicked with his micron, but he is Mr.Micron and I am puppy husky
I would like to try few new options if I can. Maybe one primary set of createx illustrator and one primary of etac. Still thinking about what and where to get it. I'm brainstorming.

Lionart is also a member here Husky. The PS770 parts work in the Olympos Micron too. I've replaced them on mine as the original parts were crap. Actually sprays better now than it did before.

DaveG, am I right in thinking the airbrush restricts/will only allow a certain amount of air through and that's why its ok to use 60psi and different airbrushes allow different amounts of airflow through the airbrush?

I’ve never heard of an airbrush being damaged or destroyed by overpressure, though I will say I’ve never operated mine at regulator settings higher than 60 psi; there’s just no need to. Of interest Harder & Steenbeck does specify a maximum operating pressure of 58 psi (4 bar) and a recommended operating pressure of 14.5 - 43.5 psi in the Infinity manual. I suspect higher pressures may exceed the design limits of the air valve or at least make it uncomfortable to use. It might be interesting to test one of these things to destruction and see what finally gives.

I accidently hooked a brush up to a compressor set for 125psi. The hose popped, but the brush was fine.

That is exactly what I was wondering. If there is max pressure and how much it is. I think my max pressure was 75 psi(if I remember correctly) with eclipse and unreduced paint. I was testing something. :whistling:

with my equipment, I can do up to 4500psi flowing air, and up to 10,000psi in a sealed container (provided the container can hold it ;))

You are not going to hurt an airbrush with any commercially available shop air compressor, or smaller. Very worst you would achieve is to blow an o-ring (usually at the top of the air valve - where the trigger passes through the body into the air valve assembly). Like that at the top of the Eclipse air valve... if your hose did not pop first.

You beat me to it Dave, ive seen in quite a few ‘manuals’ of ‘max pressure’ of 65+ and ive often thiught it would be due to limitations of the air hose / fittings rather than the brush itself :) although id hate to see a substrate if a nozzle was capable of blowing off at 65+ psi lol
