Just dropped in, liked what I found..........................

I was searching for some help regarding my Iwata HP-C knock-off (Fengda BD-130) and followed a link to your site. Found what I was searching for (nozzle o-ring issues) and decided to stay, considering I've just ordered an H&S Evo Silverline 2-in-1.

My application is model kits, I have a collection of almost 200 to be built, put aside over the last 55 years in expectation that retirement would allow me to restart my childhood hobby. I started airbrushing when I worked at GMNZ, taking advantage of the 'fridge production line spraybooth during weekends to spray 1:25th scale model cars - using an industrial gun wasn't ideal, but certainly better than a rattle can. Fast forward 20 years to the early 90's and I bought a Tamiya SprayWork kit which provided sterling service until last year, when the compressor gave up. Good excuse to buy a Fengda 180 compressor & airbrush set, which introduced me to the double action airbrush.

I'm originally from New Zealand, have lived & worked in the US, Australia & Italy and am happily retired in Civitavecchia, Italy. F-4S Blue.JPG F-4S Blue.JPG F-4S Blue.JPG F-4S Grey.JPG Jag top-side.jpg Ventura3.JPG

Thanks, everyone! Tried my shiny new H&S Evo today. I'm building a 1:200 C-141C Starlifter and found a few pics of 2 a/c which were painted in an interesting 2-tone grey scheme in the late 70's so decided to complete the model as one of them, 67-0021. Used the Evo for the darker grey on the topsides and first impressions are extremely positive. I'm spraying Valejo Model Air paint, thinned approx. 25% with a Vallejo thinner/Liquitex flow-aid blend, using the 0,2 nozzle.

I'll check out the models/miniatures section, sounds interesting.

@RKC It's a new section, so not much there..... Yet. Hopefully you and some of the other newbies can make it your own and show some of us more unfamiliar with the modelling world what it's all about.

So get posting and please encourage any other model sprayers to join in.
