What mask to buy?

So I need to cut some designs out with my plotter but I don't know what masking vinyl to buy?
It's going over automotive 2K paints.

So I need to be able to cut out the shapes that I need on my plotter, the vinyl needs to be low tack and preferably transparent somewhat.

What do you guys use?
 
Oracal 810 or 813 is available commonly in the uk or you could try to get some Fbs gold mask which is also great stuff
Just google it and you fill find it.
 
I use 810, but I have some concerns over it leaving glue residue and giving paint poor adhesion. I haven’t fully proven that to myself yet, just a suspicion. FBS Blue Mask is used by a lot of pros, but I can’t find a U.K. supplier.

I used to use the R tape paper based transfer tape with no issues. It’s nice because you can sketch on it then cut what you want out. Worked well. There was a clear one that they had that is also used and also worked good, but it was a lot harder to use. I believe that one was also from R tape but don’t quote me on that.

I have. I will use paper transfer tape when I’m also working with fineline so I can cut on the fineline tape. I’m not a fan of how the paper variant cuts. But only my preference.

I've used the paper transfer tape and it works ok, can't see through it too well but its fine for just covering stuff up for protection, my clear TT has a texture to it so I never tried it. Maybe I should.
