Compressor suggestions

"The California Air compressors are very popular, they have a tank and are very quiet, not silent like a Bambi, SilAir or JunAir, But quiet enough to talk over. They are not that expensive either. There's a few folks on here who have them."

I am considering one of those, but I really need something fairly quiet.
i use home made stuff to muffle sound from compressor. Cardboard box covered with bunch of old blankets. Works like magic.

That's the problem....The MasterAire compressors are fairly quiet, although they get a little louder as the pressure builds. If only the SilentAire were just a little bit cheaper. The 30 TC would be just perfect.

You sound ok Tony. We all sound weird to our own ears as you only ever hear your own voice through your skull.
I agree, twood sounds great. No worries.
I already posted this year or more ago, but here it goes, so you guys feel better about your sound :D
I probably sound like this guy:

lol

I decided to try and 'repair' the MasterAire TC96T. I was able to remove the 'T' relief/pressure sensor fitting. Cleaned it and applied Loctite. It will be completely cured this evening. I should know if it worked by then. Thanks for all the suggestions. CAT seems to be one of the more popular compressor in the airbrush hobby.
