Holders for side feed brushes...

Kim McCann

Mac-Valve Maestro!
I have multiple side feed airbrushes, Microns, T&C, vintage Wolds, etc. Lately I have multiple going at the same time, and having to jury rig holders for them. All the commercially available holders seem to be only geared for gravity or siphon (bottom) feed.

So I was wonder what fellow Micron or side feed users are using? Are they using homebrew holders like me, or are there nice holders available commercially that can handle multiple side feed bruses?

Thoughts? Recommends?

I bought from him a few years ago, I hope he still makes these

I have a couple of his magnetic versions of airbrush holder and they take the side feed well, they don't hold well on the 'magnetic whiteboard' but on a proper steel surface they hold extremely well.

but he does these as well, he may be able to fabricate one with the amount of holders you want,

Sorry Kim, I don't know where you live and, nothing personal, I don't think I'll try looking through your posts to find out. Somehow I don't think you are, but if you are in the US I got this from Harbor Freight Tools. $8.00 Cheap but works. I added some weight to both these brushes to simulate liquid in the cups and they did not move. I put them on the top part and the cups began to droop (the brushes started to rotate). I used these two brushes as my example cause they were handy.

I also have this one. HF used to sell them but I don't see it listed anymore. Sorry for the bad pic.

You do need to stick 'em in backwards on both. These aren't high end like the nice ones the Dragon Hunter posted.

If you'd like me to take some pics with hoses attached and water in the cups I will do that. I'll also dig out my Iwata HP-SB and Badger 100 SF.
