Creos Fan Tip

Thank you DaveG !!
I have read nothing but high marks from Spraygunners website but wanted to hear it from the great artists on this site.
If I have any questions after I purchase I will reach out to you. Again, appreciate it

I have one and it’s a great tool! I bought the regular Iwata handle which fit without any modification. I’m very happy with the quality of the manufacturing and it does exactly what I need it to.

I am late to the game.. I own a Creos 290 as well.. And can confirm: it is a great airbrush. Would buy it again any time. There is a caveat however: it requires alot of air flow. With smaller compressors, this might be an issue. And the cup is a bit on the small side.

Looks very similar (almost identical) to the Iwata HP-TH, which I have.

If it's anything like the TH, it excels at broad coverage, at the cost of needing more CFM (as StephanK says), and producing quite a lot of spray fogging. You need better ventilation with a TH than you do with a regular airbrush. Its ideal use cases would be things like large RC models, murals, or FX costuming. It's less ideal for things like illustration or regular sized models.
