Great news that the micron is good. Now you need to get a new compressor. Not so bad.

Of course I will forgive you. Although a gummie bear bribe is always graciously received LOL lollollol Glad your brush is ok, that's the main thing.

God knows if there was a section for stupid stuff you've done while ABing, then I would be top poster . This is the woman who has stared dazed and confused at her AB on more than one occasion because she forgot to connect the air hose/turn the compressor on/ open the air valve on the compressor/had the chair on the air hose and blocked it. I've manged to spray myself in the face while looking at my needle tip, have three dots on my hand where I've accidentally stabbed myself with the gun on three seperate occasions and given myself tattoos (no, I didn't learn after the first time lol), picked up a scalpel without looking and cut myself, dropped a scalpel so it landed point first in my shoe, lightly stabbing myself in the toe. Transferred images (yes plural) wrong by managing to somehow flip them and traced a mirror image instead, or facing them the wrong way on bike side panels, and not noticing before I started to paint. Getting the air hose wrapped around my foot, and falling arse over tit, covering myself in paint and destroying needle and nozzle. Knocking a bike panel off a stand and ruining what I just spent hours painting....the list goes on. I shouldn't be allowed out on my own.

So don't feel stupid. You're just an amateur dabbling in daftness. I'm a full on professional cocking Idiot LOL!!!!

glad it sounds like you've got a resolution Matty : )
i'll put my hand up for the following 'stupid things I've done'

    • forgot to connect the air hose
    • had the chair on the air hose and blocked it.
    • covered myself with black ink when my nozzle blocked and the back pressure blew the cap of the cup and all over me and the art pad.
    • got tangled in the air hose, falling arse over chesticle, gave my shed floor an artistic covering of cold coffee resulting in the need for a new coffee cup
I haven't cut myself with the scalpels as I always put the caps back on them, however I have stabbed myself with the pointy end of the pencil that lives in the same cup on more than one occasion.

    Hi all
For anyone that was following this thread i thought id give an update
So i got my brush back and also my new compressor also arrived today so i took them for a quick test, the brush is working perfectly at around 10 psi, won't be able to get a good proper go at it untill after the weekend.
It was indeed the compressor that was knackered i was just confused as my other brush worked ok, but lion explained that they would work differently so 10 bonus points to those who guessed right.
Big thanks to @Lion-Art for his time and of course the gummy bears

    OK guys, here's my problem and I have to say I am definitely not a happy bunny and here's why;

Firstly, this geezer Matty has a Micron which he shows no respect to whatsoever, he treats it some ex girlfriend who was cruel to him and when it refuses to perform for him he first threatens to murder it, in public I might add, and then instead of murdering it he packs it up and like sending an unwanted child off to a home he sends it off to land far far away where a real cool dude called Lion not only shows it the respect it deserves but also shows it a good time, then it gets sent back to the same geezer who mistreated it to start with and what's his punishment for this terrible act? EFFING GUMMY BEARS, WTF

Secondly, not too long ago the the poor brush badly disabled his little finger in an horrific accident, at that time the brush badly in need of some comfort and support called upon the Lion to supply some gummy bears to relieve the excruciating pain he was in, he begged and begged and nothing happened so had to go on-line typing in agony to make a fake order just so these desperately needed gummy bears would arrive, now I'm not the sharpest chisel in the box but even I think something stinks here, I'm starting to get the feeling that everyone is out to get me, except @Squishy of course, Squishy loves me and doesn't even care if I only have nine fingers or for that matter how ugly I am, because we are both victims of the gummy bear conspiracy and makes us like brother and sister, I have good mind to put this on Facebook and trash the bloody lot of you.

I've had with damn lot of you, rest assured this will be my very last post ever, until the next one in about five minutes, I thought about saying saying to hell with the lot of you and switching to jelly babies, but unfortunately, cruelty to children is right at the top of my "won't be tolerated" list....lollollollollol

Well Malky I'm seriously thinking of going out to buy some gummy bears, that you so rightly deserve,if I remember rightly I believe Matty sent some gummy bears to Squishy as she felt there had been a conspiracy against her. Now he has received yet another helping of them from lion, and you are clearly in need of some comforting due to your recent malicious injury, he does not see fit to send them to his mate and instead has probably sat there with a Guinness in one hand and the gummy in the other chuckling to himself. Disgusting behaviour.

Well I've actually decided to forgive him now, I just got word through the grapevine that he has bought his micron a new compressor, I suppose that means he's going to treat it better, I hope so, and my wife felt sorry for me, she's just been out shopping with her dad and bought me shed load of gummy bears AND a huge pack of chunky kit kats and she said I don't even have to share them so it's pig out time with a nice horror film tonight:thumbsup:

I went out yesterday looking for some watercolour pencils, I didn't find any, at least not the ones I wanted, but I did find a load of other stuff the main find being a huge wooden box for keeping pencils and drawing stuff in, my goal was to keep all my erasers and new fibre pen in it so as to separate them form the pencils and save me constantly searching, I'm a bit a tidiness freak and I've always wondered why there is never room in airbrush boxes/cases to keep all your spares in, so I had the idea of buying another four boxes to convert them so they can hold one brush and all the spares and tools relevant to each brush, the boxes are deep enough to store a lot of spares underneath and sit the tray that holds the brush on top, will require a little cutting but that will be easy.

The boxes have "Tekken Doos" written on top of them which is Dutch for drawing box, but I had the idea of airbrushing different tigers on top to make them look cool a more relative to what I do although I do still draw, I got the boxes form an art shop about two kilometres from my house, they don't sell airbrushing stuff but they do sell all the sundries we usually need so if I get stuck their handy, although I have enough erasers to last a lifetime, my wife actually think I have rubber fetish:confused::)

Lol, I'm patiently waiting for @haasje dutchairbrush to come with me to hold my hand, and to protect me from getting mugged for my gummy bears on the way home:confused:

I already have a micron B but it does need a new nozzle and needle, I hope to be in the market for a couple of other Iwatas later in the year too:thumbsup:

There you go, you are hereby found guilty of neglect, you have some very sad gummy bears, that have been waiting patiently for their summer holidays and a trip out seeing the countryside and getting to their nice glass bowl were they would be waiting to be honoured with the madbrush arm lifting them to the final part of their journey and quest in life, which is only to please the hungry bellie gods of Malky

I did get a lovely bag of gummies from Matty :D (nom nom nom!) But I have to agree with the mad one! There are some gummie bear shenanigans going on for sure!!!

I definately think there is some kind of conspiracy happening, and that actually all airbrush sales are slowly being infiltrated by the gummy mafia, and poor vendors like Lion-art are being forced to send out gummies to trap us all. Get us addicted to gummies, then we have to buy more AB stuff to get them. Then if you ever accidently disrespect the gummy 'family', they get you in a drive-by gumming. But Lion-art is too clever for them, he sends them out to potential AB murderers, and everyone else too, because he is a good egg. He does what he wants, he doesn't bow down to the gummy mafia. We will all have to watch his back otherwise they will test his loyalty and force him to send out boiled sweets - and nobody wants that.

Me and Mr Mad, @Madbrush are gummy victims, because we've been rumbled. We're like Moulder and Scully, we know 'the truth is out there' and that's why the gummy mafia are keeping an eye on us, but are keeping us dangling by denying the us gummy goodness. But we'll get them. One day they will wake up next to a severed gummy horses head!

I just hope matty didn't get his card marked when he sent me those gummies, and that they got to his compressor !!!!!:eek::eek::eek: Death by gumming.
Stay alert people, the mafia are everywhere. They want to control your AB talents, so they can force us to airbrush out evidence of their criminal gummie activities, and paint them in a new light, while they get rich and take over the world.
