This is just a few of the fun pictures I've been busy doing.
I really enjoy doing these since they are mostly stress free paintings.
Just pick a bottle of paint and start slinging it on the paper
Hope ya'll enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy doing them.

These look great Buddy. Where are you getting the images? Or are they drawn?

I got the reference pictures from the internet from pixabay. They are pictures that are free for any useage and no worries about paying for usage or copyrights.
I get a lot of images and references from them. People send them to them royalty free. There is a link if you want to send money to them for the use.
They call it coffee. Not sure how many get money but it is avaliable if you want to send something to them.

These sorts of images are great for practicing and honing your skills. Once you’ve perfected these you can cross over to Anime style pictures

@JackEb , with my patience level these are the type of pictures I seem to enjoy the most. Mostly can do them in 1 day and I'm through with it. lollol
I've tried portraits and they just take too long to do. My color mixing sucks, so just grab a bottle close to what is there and start slinging paint.
I don't know what type i'll end up doing mostly but these are so much fun for me. 73 years old and not getting any younger. I just hope my trigger finger doesn't freeze up on me. Herb has shown me what Golden High Flow can do, so I am building my colors up with them and learning the paint.
I have all the colors of Etac EFX, some Schmincke Aero Color and a lot of CI. Maybe if I live long enough, I can get a half way decent picture. I can see a big improvement from when I started though. My blowouts are getting more rare but when I do, it's because I pulled the trigger back more than needed.

    Thanks

    Richard

I understood what you was saying and I'll look at that idea. I didn't take it as you didn't like them. I woke up very early this morning and just can't sleep more than 5 hours at a time, so I get on the computer and here and start typing to try to get sleepy again. I tend to just ramble with responses.
Anime looks interesting but don't know what Manga is. I'll google that and see what it is. I think what I was getting at is my patience level and attention span has gotten shorter with time, so I concentrate on something that doesn't take weeks to do.
I have been limiting myself to small sizes of paper and I think I'll start getting larger ideas to work on. I downloaded a program to tile reference photos and at this moment am working on a 11 x 14 size.
I also have a bunch of texture and mask templates that I bought a good while back and just haven't used them very much. I am going to play with them some more and just see what I can come up with.

You and others do a fine job on here and ya'll don't get the respect or " at a boys " ya'll deserve.:thumbsup:

    Thanks

    Thanks Paul.
I saw from your profile that you are a electrical contractor. I am a retired electrician/contractor. I had the hightest license ( unlimited) that the US offers.
The test was an all day affair. I don't remember most of the questions but it was a rough test. I think I wore out a calculator that day. I had to figure service for a high rise, 2 houses, marina, and other single item problems. The questions mostly went to an exception of the rules and was very tricky to answer. I do remember out of a room full of people, only 5 of us passed. Very LUCKY I guess.

I've had to work and fix some really crappy installations that others have done. Been shocked many of times. Maybe that is what is wrong with my head. o_O:confused::eek::shock::shock:
