I just recently purchased the one gallon tank version of this compressor. When I first got it it seemed to be very very quiet but now that it is getting used on a daily basis, it seems to me that it has gotten just a tad bit louder.

No where near too loud to talk over, in fact I still use it while wife is in living room watching t.v. It just seems a little more louder than usual.

Have any of you experienced this?

Is the airfilter clean? Maybe it's just your imagination and you get use to the sound.

I think the vibration tends to loosen the plastic housing over the motor, at least on mine...I'd say it went up a couple Db at most, but it's still my preferred compressor.
