Ok gsi creos has officially arrived.
I think most of us have accepted the quality is every bit as good as it's Japanese contmeporaries.
But how we really know they've arrived

    Chinese copies.

These are sold with the word hobby in the listing title almost always

Also I've seen some with the two holes in a squared trigger stem.

No needle limiter, but the rest is pretty obviously styled after Mr hobby, even the ribs near the head on the body.

    One possible benefit here.
    They made a b cup.

    New-Design-0-3-0-5-0-8mm-2cc-Double-Action-Hobby-Airbrush-Gun-Gravity-Feed-Type-Pr-310.jpg

If the rest is close enough the b cup body might make an ok swap for those preferring it.

But it kind of appears to me they assumed the head was an eclipse like construction because of the hex shape at rear....so idk.

You'd have to really badly want a b cup to deal with a Chinese Mac though.

Are these new on the scene? Be interesting to see the front end break down.

Appears to have an oring on the outer part of the head base, which makes me think it has external threads on the body. Instead of the micron style head base the Mr hobby has.

It looks like a crazy mashup of an Eclipse head, GSI Body and a Revolution tail piece.

I thought it looked very similar to a revolution but with a mac. Oh well more inferior quality AB's to look out for. Thankfully I only buy either vintage or good ones. I will certainly not be buying one of these..

I've got the one that's on the first picture. Can say that the quality of machining is higher than it was decade ago from this manufacturer. But when it comes to the trigger action, it's the biggest crap that can ever be done. It does not work normally! I think I need to make some shots so yall would understand.
I don't know if Creos makes such trigger system or how Creos makes it (no Creos at the studo yet), but what chinese do is something that can't work as anyone would expect from normal trigger movement, not saying trigger response.

I think I may actually see what you're talking about in the trigger.

Is the slot too far forward to actually let you pull back the trigger?

    Eclipse one.
What I like is the stainless steel paint nozzle.

Will not be even answering;) For what you'll see is something you wouldn't expect to see:confused: They've drunk some moonshine that wasn't fresh or smth, when making drawings or generating ideas on the trigger/air valve system. I do not knowo_O

That was half copy I expected!:) Creos body and Eclipse type head. No luck! It seems it is not Creos trigger system, you will say that after looking at the photos.
BTW they do good Eclipse type heads. But don't expect those nozzles to fit real Eclipse, different angles are there, thus no proper fit.

    Here are some shots.

That's what we have when disassembled trigger area (trigger and the air valve). It looks unusual.
Do we see the same picture when having done the same procedure with the Creos? Who has Creos there?
Something remains inside the body, I didn't want to remove everything. You'll see it on other photos.

    3.JPG

That's what we see from the top of the AB:

    1.JPG

    And from the bottom:

    2.JPG

    The same, but when disassembled:
The parts that are remained inside the body are insert (partly like in Eclipse) and an O-ring in upper part.

    4.JPG 5.JPG

I don't know what they planned to have with such construction. Such amount of the parts made in China seems can't work normally together:thumbsdown: What I can say about this brush is it has the worst trigger action I've ever had. Never going to buy this again and would advise to anyone not ever to buy it. It's only worth hitting the wall, I'd say.
All I have is some parts to use in other ABs and good plastic box:) Actually, not that something I expected when buying this model.
All been said concerns this particular model, some other models from this manufacturer can be successfully used for some applications. Definitely, the models with another types of the trigger area.

Wow , that trigger and slot is rough!

    Creos has just like eclipse.
    At least 270/289 does.
    770 is like micron.

It's in essence the same on this brush....except for that adjusting screw that is in the top.

Which really isn't a bad idea to have that thing replaceable, but the machining would have to be 1000 times better.
I'm sure the hole in the top plate and the hole in the insert in the brush don't line up right.
