Thanks heaps @HellBird
Its looking amazing, dont you dare abandon it !
Great, I just printed the reference...yikes. See what you did Zack
Excellent dude. Have a crack. Pm me if you want a hand. When i get home from work, i will send you a pic of my stencil
Amazing work and a cool display of patience, not to mention a fitting testament to how stencils should be used If I had ten arms they would all be giving thumbs up
Thanks mate, i really appreciate that. 3 months ago i would have never even thought of attempting something with so much detail. But thanks to a heap of support from other great aribrush artists i have learnt so much. Comments like this make me push myself harder and help me realise that im improveing. thanks again
Where is my update ??? LOL Yes I want to see more more more ...
Here is how i did the two stencils:
One for black, then scratch out the real sharp/bright highlights and one for the blue and green of the eyes.
I taped it at the top and put a piece of tape at the bottom facing out. This way i can keep its position, the small piece of tape at the bottom is just so i can stick it up out of the way.
The only other stencil i made was for the eyes. Just to prevent getting blue and green on the reson of the paper.
Haha sorry. I have been very busy today. I have not done any. My missus is on her Learners (driving licenece) so ive been taking her for drives after work) went for 4 hours .
Tomorrow night i will get stuck into it.
Thanks for showing the process on the stencil and tell your missus good luck on her learners , I am teaching my daughter in law to drive right now so I know your pain LOL.
Not a problem, i am happy to help others. I wouldne be where i am without the support of other airheads. good luck to your daughter in law and to your patience
You're welcome, this is quite an ambitious task for any artist and certainly not one I fancy at the moment, but you are doing great with it so I don't need to you need to push yourself any harder than you are right now, it's your clever and proper use of stencils that impresses me, you've got to use whatever gets the job done and you're leaving no evidence behind, I've seen a few pieces where it was obvious in the finished piece that stencils were used, but as I said this is just astounding, we actually thank you for posting it up
Thankyou so much
Actually have goosebumps from that comment.
Im hoping thats the blushing face and not 2 testicles on their faces
It’s actually the ‘tired’ emoji
this must be the embarressed one then? Lol
and this one is @musicmacd on his airbrushing table.
Close, it’s the “oops” emoji
LOL, I don't know what that face represents so I avoid using it
No need for goosebumps, you are showing that you have talent and deserve all the positive feedback you get, and if you have earned any of that her then we are proud because that's what we are here for, there those who listen and those who don't, you are clearly a listener which is gratifying for those who try to help, it shows their time hasn't been wasted
It's actually the the "tired" emoji this "" is the "oops" emoji, if you hover over any of the emojis it actually tells you what it is, six years on this board and I've only just noticed that fact, I've clearly spent too my much time trying to draw with an airbrush
EDIT: Note to self, read all posts carefully before spurting soon, very soon I'll actually be awake, watch me type when that happens
That pictures scares me shitless but then you go and make another and I can't tell the difference between them that is some really great painting and use of stencils.
