Has anyone any experience with blue laser please? I am considering of getting this laser cutter but I dont know if it cuts mylar and cardboard / cardstock.

And i know, this cheap laser is not “safe” because its exposed but i can make it safe.
    Thanks.

browsing through some of the q&a's, it says that it ""may" cut very thin paper, but it's design is to engrave, not cut..." Another states that it "may" cut 2mm wood with "many, many passes..."

It can cut cardboard and 3mm mdf but it will take a lot of time, try to get one with +3,5W(3500mW).

I was in the same boat, needed something for cutting mylar. I was thinking about laser, cause my cameo couldn't cut mylar. Blade was destroyed to fast. There is a good thread about lasers from back then, when I was thinking about it. But I tried cb09 blade holder with graphtec blades before I go to laser route. And it cuts mylar. Blades are cheap and it works. The con is, you need vinyl cutter though.

If i would buy this engraver i would go for 5500 mw one. I can not get co2 laser because it takes too much room.
I wanna use it for mylar or cardstock stencils. I just dont know what is the accuracy of this laser and whether it can cut the mats i just mentioned.
I asked on youtube and some forums but never got any answer.
    Thanks.
