Flake King 500

I fancy having a go at metalflake stuff. I keep seeing ad's for the Flake King 500 that goes on the front of your airbrush (yes I should probably concentrate on airbrushing properly first ) However since my wife is beginning to ask if there is anything she could buy for my birthday.....

Are they any good or is it a bit of a gimmicky thing?

They work well on small sized projects . I have never tried it on something large mainly due to I have a flake king 1000 for that .

I have a thread on here where I use the Flake King 500 to do a panel. It’s a great piece of kit that works really well. It takes a little practice to get used to the best pressure to use, but it’s really nicely out together and works really well.

Funnily enough it will be being cleared in the next couple of weeks. I like to wait until I have a few pieces to do as none of them are very big. But I will be sure to update the thread once it’s been done. It was a fun project to do and very achievable, I’m sure you’ll be up to the challenge.
