@Ronald art recently started a thread with a Gargoyle and has offered to do a step by step.
    https://www.airbrushforum.org/threads/gargoyle-wip.21710/#post-339878
It looks like a fun project so I thought we could make this a 'group' challenge.

    • No time lines.
    • No wrong or right way of doing it.
    • just a fun project to blow away some cobwebs.
    • all skill levels encouraged.

Here is the reference so go for it....
@SiRoxx this may be a better reference than the one I linked to you.
You can either do your own SBS thread and put the finished piece here or just put up the finished piece (with no step by step)

A close up of his face..... not a great resolution but it may help.

    You can do this Husky.
this could be done easily with an Eclipse. If you pick the right surface you can get the details in with erasing/layering.

I know that many will look at it and think 'no way' but this is do-able by all.
If you are worried then go with a larger 'canvas'... A3 would be fairly forgiving.
The masters could do it as a Paint Pal size lol
there may not be the level of detail around the face from a novice but you can still put in enough to show that its a face

stick the reference under the glass if that is what you have been playing with, once youre finished take out the reference, stick a nice clean piece of paper in there to show off your painting and take a photo.
    OR
just get some big poster board, transfer the image and just use paint without erasing techniques.

Well I do need practise on glass, cause I get friking spiders if I push to hard. Was planning to learn on glass so I don't have problems on other mediums. I'll give it a try.... But I see the future. I will probably have quite a big issues with this one :D
