I use iwata eclipse, creos PS-270 and Creos PS-770. I run anywhere from 12psi to 45 depending on what I am using for paint.

I destroyed one like that. So true, they are so quiet. I was googling if I can find compressor for refrigerator in my country, but I was out of luck. I still have tank and all.

The guy I got it from just tore out the compressor from a little mini fridge he had that was junk and mounted it on a 1 gallon tank with a little air filter on the intake and pressure relief /safety switch and wired an on off toggle...

my old man tried to repair that little red tank with compressor on that link. He took out compressor from old fridge of his neibghour. Compressor was working for few times when he tested and after that it didn't won't to start. Actually I was just on a launch at their place and we talked about fridge compressors and we went googling on ali baba to see what we can find.

I've had a shop compressor for years, and have never drained the air from it. I use it for everything from airbrush painting to roofing and framing nailing.

You'll be fine, if you are using the compressor at least a few times a week and turning over the air (by using it) without draining it at all. If there is a lot of humidity, you may want to drain it once a week or so, just to get the condensation out of the bottom of the tank.

That amount of water will be from weeks of use without draining, normal use from the likes of me and you will see minimal water inside and it will be fine to leave it over night, I've had my compressor since 1994 and have never drained it on a daily basis, every few days to a week is good enough for me unless its on all day then maybe i'd just let the water out at the end of the day but it really will be ok till the next day, and it saves you some money because you don't need a new compressor, SO you can spend that money you've saved on a PS290 or a PS276 and and then get a conversion for the small cup..

I can’t add anything that hasn’t already been suggested. The compressor I have is quiet for how much CFM it can provide, but it’s definitely not what you would class as silent.

If you also own the silver one then you have no need for another one. It already possess the ‘quiet’ motor its just not silent. Put it on a surface that will minimise the sound of the vibration from those solid feet. I doubt the sound of it will bother the neighbours even if it does occasionally cut in during the evening.
Turn it off when you have finished you session just incase you have a slow leak at the connections that may start the compressor up while you are sleeping. The tank will be fine not drained overnight. I use to drain my small 3litre compressor nightly but my 22 Litre gets drained at the end of the weekend. Its just a routine i have got into so i know its empty but its is unlikely a bit unnecessary

yea, silver one is mine. I went today in front of my door when I turned it on. Nobody would noticed it is running. I was wondering about nights though. Silver one is a beast for 10psi :D

I do have a slow leak, cause compressor turned On few times by itself while I wasn't using it in the span of time I have this compressor.

I also run one motor after it is full. I use 2 motors for filling the tank from the start, then I turn one motor off. I didn't test at night how loud is when one motor is running. I need to do that as well.
