Ok, I received my California airtools compressor, but now need help figuring out the proper connectors I need. The connection at the compressor is female and 1/4" and need 1/8" for the hose.

This is what you need, depending on what hose you have,
(the moisture trap is the airbrush end)

Actually the California Airtools moisture trap is 1/4" and a lot cheaper! So will put that in first.

What brand of hose are you using? The fitting you linked to is NPT, which to my understanding is not the same as 1/8 BSP - which is what an Iwata type hose uses?

I bought master braided hoses. They are Iwata type. You know how hard it is to find a 1/4 to 1/8 male to male? They are not available locally!

So I need 1/8" BSP male to 1/4" BSP male?

It depends. If you have an Iwata hose, it's 1/4 NPT on one end for the compressor, and 1/8 BSP for the airbrush on the other. Other brands may simply be 1/8 BSP on both ends.

Edit: Sorry, I should have read your post thoroughly. Master hoses are 1/8 BSP on both ends. You can get a 1/4 NPT to 1/8 BSP male adapter easily enough, but usually not locally. Try Midwest Airbrush or Spraygunner. Also Coast airbrush. They all have the adapters you need. Midwest is pretty fast on shipping, at least for me.

You need 1/4 NPT to 1/8 BSP
Easiest thing to do is get a hose with a 1/4 on one side then screw that to a regular 1/4NPT male-male quick connect. Usually as cheap as the fittings.
    and BTW available locally

Dont let the specs scare you, NPS is the same as BSP
Also a pretty good quality hose surprisingly

Midwest Airbrush does not carry them:( I left a message for Spraygunner. Think I may have to order a couple of his hoses. Or just go to Harbor Freight thanks:)

This is why I only use Paasche hoses. I know they are 1/4 NPT on the compressor end, and I use a QD on the other end. Now everything works with everything lol.
Sadly its true... good luck finding the required adapters and whatnot locally. Unless you have a well equipped hobby shop or artist supply store nearby!
