Masking fluid residue help needed

I have left my masking fluid on to long 4 weeks to long is there a safe way to remove the stickiness left behind

the material I'm spraying on is G4 board

I have never used masking fluid, but have you tried using the tack of another tape and dab at it?

I think I will cut a mask and try electric eraser

Ok I've ask Marissa for her advice

Basically she recommend the use of lighter fuel on a cotton bud
