@huskystafford , saw your music play list link, had a ganders and spent a few hours listening/downloading each track. Thanks for that, you have some decent tastes in that mix, particularly the good 70's stuff.

And also thanks to @jord001 and one of his earlier links to Greta Van Fleet. I listened and liked, thus Wife wanted to know what I want for Christmas, so I said a Greta Van Fleet album, and she has delivered, although I have no idea which one it will be.

Has anyone listened to or even heard of Electro Swing?

If not, here is Caravan Palace for a tryout...

My other favourite is a guy called ' Parov Stelar'. He created many albums, one of which is Demon Diaries.
There are other bands too, like 'Tape Five' which do some good stuff too.

And here is one for the ladies on here..... Caro Emerald with Oh that man...

And this one by Caravan Palace "Rock it..." has had over 46 million views. This one would be great played at the KKBO.

    no more now.....
Thought it might give someone a taste of other music types out there. I came across by accident a year or two ago clicking round
music links for rock and smooth jazz etc, and got led to Electro Swing. Not all great, but ones posted here are good I think.

Still like to listen to Van Halen (Running with the Devil) on 10 or my Purple collection but like to chill out with something
like the above or MOGWAI; Enigma, Classic Chillout album.

I quite like the 1st Caravan Palace track Suzy. The others were ok but I prefer bands or instrumental to singers, but that's me. Suzy actually reminded me of Rammstein in a strange way, maybe the beat in the background. When i'm riding round Wales on the bike I listen to a mix of stuff, from metal to electronic to a bit of neo classical.

    I love Rammstein -.-

I also love from time to time some blues:

And I am guilty. I listen to electronic music from time to time also:

I had a great collection of music, before my hard drive died and I didn't have backups... That was the turning point for me, now I have 3 disks for backups lol

    Still remember good old winamp.

Jord, I too are similar. I love just music, and especially in the evening I like the quieter stuff, ambience. I actually like smooth Jazz
and the 70's funk. I even like 'some' of the so called 'elevator music', which is basically chilled 'Lounge music'.

When I was young, I really, really, really liked Rock n Roll (Wanda Jackson, Elvis, Beach Boys, Dave Clark 5 etc etc) and Kate Bush too.

Then a little later, I picked up the Amazing.... Fleetwood Mac (oh wowwwww what music), The B52's and The best Rock/Metal band
on the planet "Deep Purple". Seen them 4 times in Berlin, each with differing line ups (Jo Satriani was amazing), Joe Lynn Turner not so (ie excrement)

The 80's scene was all that New Romantic stuff, some of which was decent-ish (liked A-HA, Visage, some Spandau Ballet) and other music types have
stuck at various times, B52's, R.E.M, Jazz (Miles Davies, Louis Jordan), Dean Martin, Vangelis, Jean Michell Jarre, Mike Oldfield
(got all the Tubular Bells stuff) Tina Turner, Jamiraquia, Duffy, The CORRS (sigh...I sooooo wish...).

And for Rock, well, Have some Led Zep, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Santana, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, just about all of Deep Purple.

Also have quite a few Cafe' Del Mar albums, All the 'Public Service Broadcasting' albums (3 to date) which are TOTALLY AWSOME...
You should look them up on the tube .... (First Album is gobsmacking... Inform Educate Entertain, 1st EP: The War Room,
2rd Album: The Race for Space, and the 4th album to date (about the decline of the Welsh Mining Industry): Every Valley.

Have several albums by ENIGMA, really like those, also MOGWAI (band from Glasgow) and which I listen to quite a lot currently along
    with JAKATTA.

Some eclectic stuff I have, are Vampire Weekend, Kiss Kiss Kiss, Tenacious D (Jack Black's band), Shania Twain, The Proclaimers,
Rorigo y Gabriela (amazing guitar stuff), and like Bjork's music too, also, Seasick Steve and Wintersun (from one of the Viking countries
    and very very heavy metal).

My current task is to get all the MOGWAI albums, and keep up to date (which I am) with all albums by 'HAIM' and Adele.

    there you have it.

Rorigo y Gabriela,Seasick Steve and Wintersun at least by name of the band. Maybe I know songs, got some homework to do lol

Cafe' Del Mar albums are pure gold. Use that music and give your girlfriend/wife foot massage and you will get friking free custom solvents as a gift from them like siroxxx :D

And this one is from the 'War Room' EP, and features a famous News Report from the American War Correspondent Quentin Reynolds,
and was shown in the American Cinemas at the time, thus helped persuade USA to help UK and eventually join the war (after Pearl Harbour).
