It would be a pretty good deal on an ultra silent compressor.
Zem mostly made/makes (you guessed it) refrigerator compressors.

Typical cost for a similar unit new would be 500-1000 USD
    Most being 500-700

If all you need though is quiet and not ultra silent, id say its a toss up. Tons of brand new quiet compressors with more output can be had for the same price.

Its probably roughly 1.3 cfm or 40lpm or so output at 40 psi. or 50-60 no load lpm.
    Plenty for airbrushing.

Like i said, if you need volume more than complete silence id probably go with a new silent compressor. It is a good deal though most likely.

I think youll find that the actual compressor brand is either sil-air or werther. Both use ZEM compressor units
    It's a real close match for a sil-air 30/6

The refrigerator type compressors fill a tank faster than you might think and they are definitely very quiet. I would say it’s plenty for airbrushing.

I just remembered you have a ps-290....That compressor would struggle to keep up with that.
