Got a start on this piece. Been awhile since ive done an eagle caused im trying to stay away from SKULLS!!! About 2 and a half hours in so far and lots to go! Might add the rain effect in this one too but not sure yet.
Fantastic VR, I've always loved your work as you know and even like showing off to my friends and family, while I also love your skulls I get strange looks when I try to show them off, so its cool to see you paint something I can boast about without the quizzing gaze More importantly, it is super cool to have you back painting and back here with us, I knew you couldn't give it up, you're way too talented for that nonsense Looking forward to this one
Well said Malky, yeh VR nice to see you painting something other than a skull although we do love them. Good to see you painting. Lee
Thanks Malky! This is my fourth straight painting ive done in a row thats not skull and thats gotta be a record for me Just gonna try to keep it rolling! I want to get back to doing some portraits and i think my first is gonna be another one of my youngest! Feels great to actually find some time to paint again cause that was my biggest issue. And of course it wouldnt feel right not coming here and sharing! Im also not sure in the near future i will have time to paint cause my boss is signing the company over to me and im taking over. SO thats gonna take alot of my time but if i play it right, and get the right little worker bees, i can sit at home and paint while they make me money
Got a little further on it. Just lying out the flow of the feathers to give me something to follow when i go back to detail them. Also added the rain effect in which im not quite done with cause well, its rainy season here so i must embrace it
That’s the dream Dude! Haha. Congrats on taking over the business, and here’s hoping you get time to paint as I love seeing your work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
love the little pop of colour in a monochrome piece. Fantastic job as always VR, looks like you've forgotten nothing in your absence, lets hope that you can keep some time aside to spend some time on the brushes.
I love a little dab of colour in a monochrome piece. This is a great example why! Awesome work VR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
