    @wolfbane I don't agree with the skipping the boring bit, the reason being is this, airbrushing is all about muscle memory and confidence. (with knowing your paint thrown in).
    When you get those to things down pat the world is your oyster :)
    Perhaps a compromise, do a while doing dots n daggers and then do some shapes with faded shading? I really don't think there is a short cut to gaining a skill, it takes time and practice ...... sorry but that's my take.

    no problems oddball , I still practice :)
    just need to practice a lot more but in the middle of practicing I doodle a little , try making an eye :)
    so far from the results I have posted you can see I have a very long way to go :)
    but no fear 1 As I am determined to get this hobby if it takes me forever :)

    @wolfbane , In a former life I was a sailing instructor and one of my catchphrases was :- "Before I could ride a bike, I couldn't ride a bike!" It means you can't do something until you learn to do it ...... simple eh? Ha Ha
