Need help with fur

I think your work on this is stunning, I haven't done any "fur" but I have used the ripped edge of a red scotch brite pad to scratch and soften human hair to create dimension and layers , as with scratching just follow the direction of the hair with light scratching passes - watching this progress with interest!

I will try the scotch Brite and also dagger strokes and see what I can do. Thank you for the idea!
