This just popped up on my youtube feed, I won't be getting one but it may be Ok for someone doing models etc. I think I would be using a proper airbrush myself.

I’ve seen these and it’s definitely an interesting tool. They seem to be marketing them at beginners. I’m with you in that I’d still recommend a proper brush, but it’s interesting at least.

Yep, a bit of a gimmick type thing, seems a bit too plastic. When the Aztek came out it was weird plastic but wasn't a bad airbrush in the end. I think it would be fine for priming small things like D&D / Warhammer type figures or smallish scale models. At £40 its not too bad I suppose, I can certainly see a use for it with modelers. Won't be buying one myself.

That’s a very good point. Seems like there’s extra pieces to go wrong or wear out too. That said I have no idea how easy / hard it would be to break down and repair.

I'll bet if they made this white they could double the price and sell it all day long as a makeup airbrush.
It would look much friendlier and more bathroom oriented than real airbrushes.
Especially if they turned the trigger 90deg so it was more comfortable to point at your own face.

But just in case anyone has a buttload of money to waste on single action quick change Chinese airbrushes, there's this

That thing works the same as the Copic airbrush system. It is basically paint/ink infront of an air source. A pack of bottles costs as much as the whole gun.
