I didnt mean me, I've always been a tool and i'm getting old..

No, I have got a new tool.. let me explain....
After getting a couple of vintage airbrushes I thought hmm how do I undo some of the parts without damaging them? I've used pliers with lots of tape on in the past but there's always the chance that it could still mark. So after looking at the Iwata kit I thought there's got to be a cheaper alternative. And there is.. I actually brought 2 sets of pliers but one set is a bit o.t.t. So what did I get?

This first set are the "normal" size about 7.5 inch and only cost $15 off eBay. I did have to wait a few weeks for them to arrive from Japan but I've got back from my hols and they're waiting for me.

This pair on the other hand are a little bigger, as I said maybe over the top a bit but they may come in handy for something.. and for less than £11 well worth the money. Again from eBay and delivered in the uk within a couple of days.

Ok thats my bit of excitement for today.. Just need to get the needle packing screwdriver, trying to work out how I can make on with a very thin screwdriver and some sort of sleeve soldered on...

I have a pair of the first ones also - I got a set with the Iwata tool kit, but the jaws got kinda chewed. I found trying to find replacement inserts is much like finding hens teeth, so purchased the ones you have linked above. They are a tad larger than the Iwata's, but still fit in the tool kit pouch. I have been using them much longer than the Iwata's, and they are still going strong.

Excellent finds Lee, I’ll be ordering a set of the smaller ones for spares.
