For peeps in the UK Mick Neill is the distributor for Flake King series of guns. Not sure where else he ships to but I have seen packages going to Europe in the past when I've been over for a coffee.

I’m looking forward to experimenting with Pearls too. I really love the idea of custom colours and mixes.

I think, we'll have our own custom made busters soon;) It's another reason to start the thread. So be it!

Great minds think alike!:D Besides the flakes, in my boxes also are pearls, chameleons, laser (or whatever they call it), fluor pigments. Everything is in dry state. So, the time is promising not to be boring:)

We're in the same shoes:) I haven't tried them either, so the same way is before us and we're going to go through it. Trial, errors... etc.

I think "might" more feels like they will. As those things are real shiny.

BTW, I've finally found time to take some shots of the products and the tools, so the thread is being cooked in my brain:) We close to start the discussion of what to do with them.

Congrats and enjoy your new toy, I made one three years ago to paint a helmet, just a jelly glass, two pens and some epoxy putty!! No matter if it was bought or made, it is a very handful tool to have!!

Its a little easier to make it come out even, and you can use giant flake sizes without having to attempt to clear with say, a 2.0mm tip. Also, you can load them heavier than you ever could in a single layer wet, with less depth of course.
So all in all they just open more options of control.

Though I'd never buy the full size gun for it ,the little one is kind of neat.

Ive got about two dozen of the schutz guns that come with SEM bedliner kits. Theyre about $20 by themselves. Hammer the tube flat ish at the end or cut it shorter to modify the spray pattern if you like.

    I like Marcos' setup too.

The size of the flake and nozzle is something that I forgot to add. Thanks for that Robby as it was totally part of why I wanted to try one.

I never though of that schutz guns!!! I have a sandblaster gun with deposit that I was thinking to test and a 3D printed lid design to use with any jam jars, but it will be easiest to print a tip for the schutz guns!!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure mica powder would make nice mini flake.
