Photoshop or Illustrator help if you need it

I was thinking before about making a thread how to snatch from web textures or stencils and make them and not pay for them, but I was afraid someone will go bananas on this forum -.- It can be done from free textures as well. It's the same process actually...

I too might have seen a texture stencil, vectorized the sucker and used a plotter to make the stencil here at home..unless it's frowned upon here, because in that case, ive never even thought of doing that..
