Been working on learning to pinstripe for a while now. And always still pushing my airbrushing. This piece brings it all together. I was asked to donate a piece or 3 for a charity fundraiser. I have a few more in mind if I can get them done. Or I will donate 1-2 pieces I already have completed. This is on a 12"x24" black canvas. I sketched the basic design on paper, transferred the car image to card stock by drawing it to correct size, and cut it out as a stencil. I then sprayed white to get my background glow and to register the car shape. Then I kept working back and forth detailing the car and the background. The fire is pathetic but better than some other attempts . At this point I had only used waterbased paints from Createx. After my airbrushing was done I cleared it with spray can gloss clear. I then began to stripe. I used a vibrant blue as a base color and then mixed that same blue into white for my secondary color. All in all I am pleased with the design and execution of this piece . Aw darn! Only pic I had was from Instagram and it cut it off some. Oh well. You get the idea.
