Yesterday I got a free magazine at the airbrush shop after buying some new stuff, and I came across this amazing airbrushed painting on believe it or not, a standard size single edge razor blade.

The artist is a guy called Steven Leahy from Chattanooga USA, in the same magazine there is a full step by step of the process he used to create this amazing piece.

Wow, you have an airbrush shop near you ! Fantastic, All I have is online shops.
That is some cool microbrushing, don't know how they do it.
    Good find, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Tony, but the shop is actually an hour drive from where I live, but because I had no incentive to work I just fancied a day out, and the guy who owned the shop is just Like Mitch, he wants everybody to airbrush, even if it costs him money, I stood and watched this guy show a girl how to clean her new airbrush and connect her compressor, then he apologised to me for keeping me waiting.

And then after asking the guy some questions and getting clear answers, he just handed me the magazine and said there is a lot of info in here, then he said I must call him if I need to know any more, this kind of service is almost extinct these days, but it's good to know you can find it somewhere.

And as if that wasn't enough, I even got a coffee, although not the same coffee the artist formerly known as Snoopy Valley uses, I know that cos I'm, still rubbish, lol

Steve is a cool guy. He has gave me a lot of pointers on a different site as he shows his how too's on doing them. He makes a good living off making those tiny paintings , But He shares his knowledge which is a great thing. But the blades is just part of what he does , Check out his website http://stevenleahy.com/ Steve does some amazing work . I can not say enough good things about him,

Seamonkey If you do get a chance to meet Steve , Take lots of notes.

The artist said that art needs to make an impact to get noticed, and that means making it as big as you can or in his case as small as you can to the where it looks impossible.

He put out a "How to" on the web somewehere, or someone did.
Allegedly the ability to do this is due to some system and anyone can do this if .....they know the secrets.
