    the last 7 days on my eclipse bcs chuck nut become lose in like half an hour. I tight that chuck nut good, this is happening last 7 days. I use open present handle, so I suspected I unscrewed it unintentionally with my finger dragging against it. I also suspect this is happening cause of vibrations when I pull the triger to the end. My sbs working like it should. Should I order new chuck nut?

    Any opinions? Maybe try with chuck nut from sbs on bcs?

    Thats really quite strange. I can't think of any mechanical reason that would happen.

    If youre unscrewing with your knuckle like I do on open handles. Screwing the handle on with the openings facing the top and bottom instead of to the side will fix that.

    Swapping is a good idea to troubleshoot. But I have a feeling its just that your bcs is wore in and youre sbs isnt yet so its more easily unscrewed with youre knuckle.

    Or it could just be a matter of you gripping them differently IDK. Just know that any open handles I tend to unscrew w my knuckle.
    Which is one of the reasons I hate them and dont see the point in their existance unless you can pull the needle out the back without taking the handle off.

    The cutout exists to pull the needle back to clear clogs, it pulls back further than doing it via the trigger.

    Yeah Just usually if i cant clear it by pulling back and forth several times, then pulling back on the nut hasnt done much more good. For me anyhow.
    IDK I just find them distracting and they mess with my grip so just not worth it for me.
    Even thought about putting some clear vinyl tubing over my point zero handle but have been to lazy to shop for tubing the right size.

    LOL well IDK I did find this;
    @jagardn ;
    I just turn the handle so the holes are facing up/down. That way the knuckle of my finger rides on the rounded edge instead of getting rubbed by the cutout.
    Actually, the Infinity has the most useful handle, the needle tension adjustment is exposed so you don't have to remove the handle to use it.
    Using that opening to cycle the needle to clear blockages never made sense to me, you can do the same thing by rocking the trigger back and forth with any airbrush.
    @Mr.Micron ;
    I agree to that but I have had a blockage that just rocking the trigger did not work and I did have to pull the needle all the way back which is only like 1/32 or maybe 1/16 of an inch more. but it got rid of the blockage.
    But that is also when I first started and was using regular Createx..

    Herb later says he turns the handle up and down too but
    doesnt mention exactly why he turns the handle....
    Maybe he'll pop in and tell us
