    Looking for more knowledge!
Building a silent compressor. The ptc relay is busted on it. Do I need it? Isn’t that for regulating the thermostat?
There’s a bunch of good blogs and videos out there to make these things but when ya get to the wiring part they just say “wire it up!”
    Any help would be appreciated.

Nope. You need it, powers the startup windings.
Heres a diagram of its place...It basically self heats...then cuts out , its a quick timer for the start circuit.

Dude you’re as advertised (the man)
So there’s the power cable and then another cable that was up in the fridge that’s spliced into the power cable. Is that needed?

So I should be able to scrap that secondary cable that’s piggy backing onto the power cable right?

So, no not really, just attach the green one from the cord to your tank or whatever metal for safety sake

Haha yeah grounding it is the part I understand probably the most.

So after I have the cables plugged into the relay then I run those into the pressure switch and that should be it right?

Right on. Hopefully I can track down a relay by tomorrow. The internet is failing me right now. Says it’s a Klixon and goes into a 3 pin setup. Everything I find is 2pin. Gonna stop into a shop tomorrow and see if they can help. I’ll let ya know. Thanks for the help.
