Hello everyone. My Iwata is spraying paint when it shouldn’t and it’s driving me crazy! I’ve cleane the needle and nozzle. Why is this still happening?
My assumption would be, you missed some spot -.-
I would tear it down and clean the whole airbrush. I actually soak stuff when I am done with spraying and clean it a little bit later. Just so I don't miss something...My newest approach
I also cutted this brush with small scissors so it can go inside of the nozzle and goes out right where needle goes. I never leave some crap in my nozzle this way.
You can see the shape of the brush how much did I cut it.
Yep Husky is right, you’ve missed a spot.. that is the most likely cause.
Get a jewellers loupe (magnifying glass) and check your nozzle, it may be flared/split if you’ve been a little too aggressive with your cleaning or seating of you’re needle.
What is your cleaning procedure ? What paint are you using.
