Which paint for lure painting

complete newbie here, in fact am in process of purchasing my first airbrush (Iwata Eclipse hp-cs and Noname compressor), wondering which paints to buy. wont be buying huge selection. just want to get started.

Which brand is a decent comromise in price and use for a beginner.

Thanks for any advice.

I have used modelmaking enamels. If you are whimsical, try nail polish thinned down !

I have a friend who is a fishing guide, in the winter he paints lures that he sells during the season. He swears by AK real colors. They are a lacquer based paint that is super tough and water proof once sealed with lacquer varnish.
