Devilbiss gravity fed airbrush issues

Hi folks.

I have two air brushes, both devilbiss's. One suction fed and the other is a gravity fed unit.

The gravity fed unit leaks back into the trigger section, i ordered a repair kit and was surprised it did not come with a new teflon packer for the needle.

Am i correct in assuming my issue is with my teflon packer not gripping properly around my needle

i do not use my suction fed unit as it too has an issue, it keeps pressurising the bowl, new o'rings etc, i suspect my fluid nozzle is damaged and not seating properly, but cannot find anyone that sells size 0.5 needles and nozzles

sounds like oyu are correct, in that it is most likely the needle packing (teflon packer) You should be able to adjust it a small amount, but turning he screw in a little further. Don;t go far, but try tightening it just a few degrees at a time, and test fitting your needle. You want to just feel a little resistance - but not tight grab on the needle.
