I am just wondering. Can you screw it on micron? Is micron needle further out then eclipse? I got husky puppy needle guard on my eclipse which was created from needle guard which I got on eclipse. Is it compatible with micron?
Thank you Ronald. I think @Dimitris made custom ones from Fengda cheap needle guards for himself for his micron. The same time I was making mine for eclipse. I noticed Blackdevil k33 guard is 45 euros but if I understood correctly those prongs are the same length like needle. Not like seen in this pictureI just had a quick look at the eclipse and the micron and the eclipse needle guard will not fit the micron
Can you be kind enough to link that guard? You got any picture how long is on your airbrush?Indeed, it also fits the creos 770. Paying 45 euro for that black devil guard seems a lot for me. Luckily I have a dremel and did an awesome job.
theyre all to hard to pick the needle with them on, but ive been having a LOT of tip dry issues lately, maybe if tip dry was less frequent then id use them.
Im lucky i guess, i don't have a tendency to drop things (I’ve never had a cracked phone/tablet screen) and i think i got all my ‘stabbing’ out of my system with my first generic brush so for now my caps will be offhard to clean the tip of the needle yes... but I still don't trust my hand when I'm 3-4 mm from the surface, know that I'm going to bend it
I cut an old toothbrush and keep a small glass with home made cleaner close to me, so every now and then I've used to clean the tip with it.
I am here with Dimitris. I don't have depth of view, so hitting a needle is happening.Less and less, but still can happen Not a problem with eclipse when you hit a t-shirt. Actually my eclipse dropped on ceramic tiles and it was fine But hitting with needle and nozzle for almost 100 bucks damn -.- Probably I would hit it cause I would be so scared not to hit it, and my hands would shake like crazyhard to clean the tip of the needle yes... but I still don't trust my hand when I'm 3-4 mm from the surface, know that I'm going to bend it

this looks interesting, but I am guessing cleaning tip dry is not so easy with it. With a small brush and some reducer on it would work I guess. I tried bunch of stuff for tip dry issues, and then you have solvent guys, which don't have tip dry issues.I can throw a bit more of a monkey wrench in your gears -
I have been using what is called an "eyelet" needle cap from Richpen. They are ported around the circumference in such a way as to allow air to escape, rather than be trapped or become turbulent as you approach your work surface. You can maintain a fine line even while allowing the edge of the cap to ride along your work surface. With a pronged cap, the prongs will grab the surface...

I forgot about cotton buds. I wonder what we will use in europe. I heard cotton buds will not be allowed, but I don't know the date of that new law.I have greatly reduced my use of Createx products, and have found that my need to pick the needle has been reduced with the newer products I am working with. I use a cotton bud (q-tip) soaked in solvent or reducer to clean the needle when the need arises. I usually keep one right on my desk while painting.

I heard cotton buds will be no more. Just like plastic straws. Are you confusing them with plastic straws? I heard, and have already, started to withdraw them in EU...

EU agrees ban on plastic straws, cotton buds to tackle plastic pollution

edit: this is just the first link on google. You got bunch of this on web.
I never seen ones with paper stem. Yea, this is probably cause of plastic. I need to find the ones with paper stem. I am quite surprised there are paper stem available on cotton buds.maybe that is just the buds with plastic tubes. The ones I use have a paper stem, with cotton on both ends.
