New to the forum, thanks for adding me.
I'm a toy designer in Texas with nearly two decades of experience.
I do illustration work in my free time and have been using airbrushes to paint models and miniatures for a few years now.
This year I'm looking to transition to using airbrushes in my illustration work. While I love working on minis, I want to work on some larger pieces for my house, friends, and family.
I got into airbrushing when my brother gifted me an old toolbox of two Badger 150s and 2 old Paache brushes. I kept them for years without using them (both nervous to get into the hobby and just total lack of knowledge). Turns out the badgers needed work and during a period when I lived in California, the good folks over at Coast Airbrush helped get both badgers up and running.
Since then I've fallen in love with airbrushes/airbrushing and have also added two Infinity CR Pluses and most recently a Grafo T2 to my toolbox.
I look forward to learning from you all and growing my skills in this awesome endeavor.
Best,
Austin
