Cool beanies! Can I pencil you in for posting yours here? The more the merrier:D!

110 R2D2s, sounds like a hoot. No, sounds like a lot of work. I hope it goes well. Better than 110 Chewbacca's I'd guess.

I just received my spaceship airbrush model. Once put together and painted, I’ll try to combine one of my space star paintings and find a skinny glass cabinet or bottle to display it. Feeling like a kid again lol;)(Airbrush model inspired by Gerald Mendez)
Gerald will be painting and putting his together on video to follow along.

Will you be posting your build here on the forum Joseph? I'd like to follow your progress.

Your space painting is "Out of this World"! Very nice sir.

The kind words are well deserved sir. Your painting will make an excellent back-drop.

I've opened my box and that's as far as its going to get for a week or so, I've a few other things on my plate I need to attend to first. I want to give this model my full attention, not stop - start with weeks in-between.

Pretty much why I haven't started yet either. I've got some things coming and I'm still trying to decide which way I want to go with mine:confused:.

A quick photo of the model built and painted in-front of one of my old space paintings. I’m looking forward to finding a nice cabinet or bottle so I can paint the right scene for it.
I couldn’t wait for Gerald, I’m too much of a child lol 74D9DC31-0B37-4E6B-84BD-085A55ACEE91.jpeg

Yours turned out very nice Joseph. Well done:thumbsup:.

And the background does add a lot of visual interest.

Congratulations on being the first to finish one too;).

I'd like to ask you a favor if I could Joseph. When you find the cabinet or bottle you will use, and if you paint a new background scene, will you please post the finished model in this section?

    https://www.airbrushforum.org/forums/models-miniatures.69/

It is Models and Miniatures. I'd like to see all the finished Space Brushes put in this section.

A simple title like "Space Brush by JosephAir" would be good but you can use any title you like.

I have got as far as assembling the base and internal LED casing.... I decided to attempt to do a decent job (last model built was circa 1980 !! ) so I'm waiting on some paint to come in. I can't wait to start on it. Yes I will take progress pics :)
